First and foremost, the service was amazing! Everyone in there was so friendly and attentive! It was a little packed when we came in, but we still got to choose our table. We ordered the spicy garlic edamame, the booty shake roll, the EZ roll, and a classic California roll. It all came out quickly and the edamame was 🔥! The rolls were a little bland and not rolled tight enough, but truly not bad and looked pretty! The sauce with the booty shake roll was really good though! The price was incredibly reasonable and overall I would recommend this place to most people I know!

Best sushi in all of Fresno. I come back to it every time, and it always delivers. I have tried other spots, but nothing feels as fresh or is as tasty as Maya's Sushi.

I was very disappointed when I received my $16.00 bowl of shrimp fried rice. It looked like I had ordered from the kids menu. Quite a steep price for a bowl not even half full. I’ve ordered this before and it’s always been atleast half full if not more.

We did not need reservation and we went on Valentine's Day for dinner. They sat us down right away and we were very happy about that. I ordered the sashimi salad and I asked to add avocado and quail egg for additional cost. My husband got the gioza and a cooked sashimi roll. My salad came with everything except the egg. It took two service members and our waitress and about 15 min after the salad was delivered and multiple inquiries just to find out that they were out of the eggs. The fact that they had ran out was not a big issue it was the lack of communication and how long it took everyone to deliver the message. My husband said the giozas were too salty and he could not finish them. His cooked sushi he said was a 7out of 10. I would recommend, but just expect a little disappointment.

My husband and I had an amazing experience here last night at Maya Sushi. It was our first time here and we decided to sit at the sushi bar. The hostess was very kind and attentive and Wan at the sushi bar was amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed and even offered us a special sushi sauce to try which was exceptional. The sushi was the best I’ve ever had. This is definitely our new go-to spot and we will be letting our friends know what a great experience we had!

Food was great and the portions aswell. customer service was exceptional. My only con would be the lack of alcohol beverages however they did offer a non alcoholic beer.

Vivían was a wonderful host, very attentive, she check on us often, suggested delicious dishes and a sauce. Displayed genuine care towards our picky 9 y/o. She brought her a chopsticks helper. All the food is fresh and quality is excellent! Fresh food, great variety, so much flavor in every bite!

We decided to walk to dinner Friday night and ended up at Maya Sushi, we had a big party of 7 and we only waited 5 minutes we they were able to put 2 tables together and and have us seated. We had a variety of rolls, bento box, and bowls. Service was very good as well as the atmosphere. The food took almost 10 minutes, which was not to bad since it was a big party. The Rocket Bowl was not as good as I remember. We also had the Maya special roll, you let the chef know what sushi you like and they make you a roll with your choices. I must say that was very good and enjoyable.
